Greg Schulze, PGA Director of Instruction

Has been teaching golf improvement for over 23 years. A Class-A Professional since 1989, he has helped more than 12,000 amateurs, professionals, groups, and golf school students. A native of St. Paul, he spent more than 10 years learning to teach at top golf clubs and academies in south Florida.

In 1999, Greg completed studies and testing to earn the PGA of America's highest teaching distinction -Master Professional in Instruction, becoming one of only 57 PGA Professionals in the United States and 3 in Minnesota to have reached this level of expertise. Greg was the recipient of the 2007 Minnesota PGA Teacher of the Year Award, and the 2006 Minnesota PGA Junior Golf Leader Award, becoming only the second MN PGA Professional to win both awards. He has given personal instruction to a PGA Tour winner, Minnesota PGA Player of the Year, Minnesota PGA Senior Player of the Year, Minnesota State Open Champion, State High School Champion and more than 40 PGA club professionals. Greg served on the PGA of America's National Teaching Faculty for 5 years. His peers and Golf Digest Magazine have honored him by inclusion in their "Top Teachers in Minnesota" list, and Travel and Leisure Magazine included him in their "Master Class of Golf Instructors in the United States" list. He received his greatest honor in 2000 when he was presented the "Distinguished Service Award" from the Minnesota Special Olympics for volunteering as state golf director, hosting clinics, events and certification schools for parents and coaches.

 

Greg has been a featured speaker at four Minnesota PGA fall teaching seminars attended by over 200 PGA Professionals. He has had more than 70 instruction articles published in newspapers and magazines. He has appeared on The Golf Channel as a featured instructor. In 2006 and 2007 he was the co-host of a weekly golf radio program and has made over 20 television appearances giving golf improvement tips.
